Tribute to Pucci
Hail to Emilio Pucci
People always ask me where I get my inspiration from. Although a long list of designers come to mind, one that particularly stands out is Emilio Pucci. Known for his bold patterns and bright colors, Emilio, a member of the Italian Olympic Ski Team, became discovered after wearing his own designs on the slopes. After being photographed, his design appeared in Harpers Bazaar, he was invited to create women's clothes in New York. In 1951, he established his own fashion house in Florence. The moral of the story - always, always, always, wear your designs because you never know who might be around.
